Irina Bogdanova

Biography

Born in Moscow, Russia, Irina started taking lessons in music at the age of 5. At the age of 7 she joined the Central Music School under the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory where she studied with Professor Mndoyantz, Professor Gornostaeva and Professor Dorensky. She graduated from the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory studying with Sergey Dorensky and received a Doctor of Musical Arts degree. Additionally she studied with Professor Margulis at the UCLA University in Los Angeles and with Professor Yablonskaya at the Guilliard School in New York. Irina had completed a Senior Course at the International Piano Academy “Incontri col Maestro” with Professor Boris Petrushansky in Imola, Italy; and at Talent Music Master Courses in Brescia with Professor Andrea Bonatta. She had also completed a Master Course in Piano Performance at the Conservatorio di Musica A. Steffani with Professor Massimiliano Ferrati. She took masterclasses with V. Balzani, A. Frolich, L. Morales, A. Mamriev, I. Schepps, A. Zenzipper, J. Rose, Piotr Paleczny, Dmitry Bashkirov and Oleg Maisenberg. Irina has been performing in Russia and Europe giving solo recitals, as well as chamber concerts and performing with symphony orchestras to critical acclaim.
